Ibuprom Sport 50 mg / g topical gel contains ibuprofen as the active substance, which is classified as a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. The mechanism of the anti-inflammatory and analgesic activity of ibuprofen is based on the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis in the inflamed tissue.
Application:
The medicinal product Ibuprom Sport 50 mg / g gel indicated in the local treatment of muscle pain; in the treatment of pains associated with degenerative joint diseases, rheumatic diseases of the peripheral joints and the spine; in the treatment of inflammatory changes in periarticular tissues (including synovial bursae, tendons, tendon sheaths, ligaments and joint capsules); in the treatment of painful shoulder stiffness, pains in the lumbar region of the spine and post-traumatic changes related to playing sports or after accidents (e.g. contusions, sprains).

Contraindications:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to acetylsalicylic acid or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) and in patients with a history of urticaria, allergic rhinitis and asthma after taking acetylsalicylic acid. Do not apply to open wounds, mucous membranes and around the eyes. The drug is not recommended for the treatment of children under 14 years of age.

Przeciwwskazania:
Nie stosować w przypadku nadwrażliwości na którykolwiek składnik leku. Nie stosować u pacjentów z nadwrażliwością na kwas acetylosalicylowy lub inne niesteroidowe leki przeciwzapalne (NLPZ) oraz u pacjentów, u których po zastosowaniu kwasu acetylosalicylowego w przeszłości wystąpiły pokrzywka, alergiczne zapalenia błon śluzowych nosa i astma. Nie aplikować na otwarte rany, błony śluzowe i w okolicach oczu. Lek niewskazany do leczenia dzieci poniżej 14. roku życia.
