Xylorin is a drug for colds of various origins in the form of an easy-to-use nasal spray.Xylorin can be used not only for a runny nose during a cold, but also for allergic rhinitis or for the treatment of sinusitis. The drug can also be used as an adjunct in the treatment of otitis media resulting from a cold.

Composition
Xylometazoline hydrochloride 550 µg/ml.
1 ml of solution contains:
active substance: xylometazoline hydrochloride 550 µg (50 µg/dose),
other ingredients: anhydrous sodium acetate, acetic acid, sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Indications
The drug is used to reduce the symptoms of rhinitis or sinusitis.
Action
Xylometazoline causes contraction of small nasal arteries, reducing swelling and congestion of the nasal mucosa. This clears the nose, facilitates breathing and reduces the amount of secretions. The effect occurs a few minutes after administration.
Dosage
On average: children over 6 years of age and adults: 1 to 2 doses in each nostril every 8 hours for 3 to 5 days. Before administering the medicine, clean your nose. Remove the protective cap. Hold the container in a vertical position, with the applicator upwards. Insert the tip of the applicator into the nostril and press. When applying the medicine, close your eyes and mouth.
