“Compound
The active ingredients of the drug are octenidine dihydrochloride and phenoxyethanol.
Excipients: sodium gluconate, glycerin, cocamidopropyl betaine CAB 30-LQ-(MH), purified water and hydrochloric acid, 10% solution (to adjust the pH to 5.0-6.5).
Dosage
Unless otherwise directed, apply Maxiseptic gently once daily, spraying into easily accessible areas to be treated, ensuring they are completely damp. Alternatively, you can also apply Maxiseptic by spraying the medication onto a gauze pad and then gently wiping the treated area with at least two Maxiseptic wipes in a row to ensure complete wetting. The preferred method is to apply the medication using gauze pads.
Wait at least one or two minutes for Maxiseptic to dry completely before covering the wound with a bandage, tape, or clothing.
For time-limited maintenance antiseptic treatment of interdigital mycosis, the drug should be applied to the affected areas in the morning and evening.
Maxiseptic is intended for application to the surface of the skin and cannot be injected, for example, with a syringe, into the deep layers of tissue.
Maxiseptic is intended for application to the skin or wounds.
Maxiseptic is recommended to be used undiluted.
Maxiseptic should not be used for longer than 2 weeks without medical supervision.
Action
The ingredients of Maxiseptic (phenoxyethanol, octenidine) are substances with antimicrobial activity. Their action complements each other, which makes the drug effective against bacteria, fungi and protozoa.
Indications
Maxiseptic is intended for use in adults and children of all ages with:
repeated, short-term treatment of the mucous membranes and adjacent tissues with an antiseptic before diagnostic manipulations in the genitals and anus, including the vagina, vulva and glans penis, as well as before catheterization of the bladder
antiseptic treatment of small superficial wounds and skin disinfection before non-surgical procedures.

Contraindications
When you should not use Maxiseptic:
if you are allergic to octenidine dihydrochloride, phenoxyethanol, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine;
to rinse the abdomen (for example, during surgery), bladder, or eardrum (the membrane in the middle ear that vibrates in response to sound waves).”
