Orofar Junior acts in two directions – it contains a disinfectant (benzoxonium chloride) and a local anesthetic (lidocaine hydrochloride). Orofar Junior lozenges can be used by adults and children over 6 years of age.
Orofar Junior contains two active substances with a complex effect:
benzoxonium chloride is an antiseptic substance that acts against bacteria, viruses and fungi that cause infections of the throat and oral cavity,
lidocaine hydrochloride is a local anesthetic that helps soothe a sore throat.
Orofar Junior is used for:
fungal, viral or bacterial throat infections;
inflammation of the gums, infections and ulcers of the oral mucosa – aphthae (oral infections),
an aid in the treatment of tonsillitis (tonsillitis),
relief of pain arising from colds, pharyngitis, laryngitis.
Orofar Junior was doubly activated carbon – it contained a substance that causes irritation (benzoxanyl alcohol chloride) or local irritation (lidocaine chloride). Orofar Junior adult tablets can be stored for 6 hours.
