Zovirax Duo contains two active ingredients: acyclovir and hydrocortisone. Acyclovir is an antiviral agent and helps fight the virus that causes herpes. Hydrocortisone is a mild steroid that reduces the inflammation associated with cold sores. Zovirax Duo can be used by adults and adolescents from 12 years of age.
